Network Maintenance

Package A (Simple)

This package is priced on a 'per computer' basis which can be done weekly, biweekly, monthly or quarterly. It costs just $30.00 per XP client (discount applies when more than 100 clients) and only $75.00 per server. Details are listed below:

• $30.00 per XP Client machine (Patch Management and Antivirus Management)
• $75.00 per Server machine (Check server vitals, logs, disk space, raid arrays etc.)
• Perform Patch Management on all systems and provide reports to the customer via Windows Software Update Service (WSUS) if installed. This package includes Windows Critical, Security and Microsoft Office updates (most important updates). Optional software updates are available on an a la carte basis.
• Review all system logs on servers for errors. Backup logs for archive purposes.
• Check/scan clients of Anti-Virus server. We can setup an AMS (Alert Management System). In most cases we will know about a virus before the client knows and proactively eliminate it.
• Check mail client security software for viruses present in email (if the customer site has software if not, we can recommend a software solution.)
• Check Backup Exec or equivalent for backup job errors. Test data to disk backups for restorability.
• If site is running ISA, we will check for intrusions and provide reports on intrusion attempts and/or network attacks.
• Defragment Server (quarterly or as needed)
• Routinely check router health and statistics (routers can often be the first device assaulted in a network attack.)

If your site has no Antivirus server or Update system we can help you design and implement one or both around any of your business needs!

Package B (Advanced)

Package B is similar to Package A, but is priced on an hourly basis (rounded to the nearest quarter of an hour). As opposed to a flat fee, this package takes into account the amount of time that is required to complete the job. This package is ideal for larger companies who sometimes require extra attention. Included are such items as in-depth verification of backup jobs, modification of group policies (update items), patch management for a group of test clients (deploy updates to those clients first), more servers than one or two, etc.

• Check Server vitals

Backup Package

Daily tape or disk backups keep your organization's critical data safe. Our backup package provides you with the basic System and File backup. The backups would consist of:

• Back up critical files using Symantec Backup Exec or a similar program.
• Test restorability on a bi-weekly or weekly basis.
• Monitor backup status to ensure completion of jobs and rotation of tapes. Resolve any errors and/or alert customer.

System Cleaning

Cleaning Service Package

Dust in your computer systems can cause a number of problems.

• Dust can cause systems to run hotter (computers like to stay cool)!
• Fire starting hazard.
• Cause static electricity to build up in your computer which could discharge and damage your expensive equipment.

Maintaining your network and keeping your computers clean greatly reduces service outages and support cases thus saving your company money. We can also perform these cleaning services during the nights and weekends resulting in less interruption to your business. We can also perform this cleaning services on critical servers that "can't be" powered off (ask us about this service).

We can service your desktops and servers with minimal downtime. We recommend a full cleaning of servers and desktops every three months. This service consists of the following:

1. Servers - Remove bezel and case and clean out all dust from inside the case (requires taking computer outside). Clean intake and exhaust fans and inspect fan bearings (if a fan stops working your computer can burn itself out in a matter of minutes). We will also clean the displays (flat panels and CRT friendly) and basic keyboard cleaning (blow out particles stuck between keys and board).
   Downtime estimate per server: 40 minutes
   Price Per Server: $65.00
2. Workstations - Open workstation case and clean out all dust from inside the case (requires taking computer outside). Network Security

Vulnerability Assessment and Security Package

Network security is a growing concern with multiple new threats being introduced through the internet and the vulnerability due to improper hardware and software setup.

• Run vulnerability assessment tools against the network for any threats or vulnerabilities (Retina or similar product). If any potential security breaches are found, we will provide you with options for mitigating these items. We will assist you in analyzing whether or not the cost of the mitigating the threat outweighs the asset's potential to be compromised. We are also able to perform most mitigations (80% remotely).
• Run MBSA (Microsoft Baseline Security Analyzer) against servers in addition to the VAT (Vulnerability assessment tool).
• Harden servers (if requested by customer). This is looked at on a server by server basis.
• We can also enhance physical security, data storage security (encryption/ACLs) and data transmission security (IPSEC, VPN, etc).
• We can setup and monitor Symantec Antivirus server and solutions. With AMS, if you get a virus we will know about it before you do! We will also adjust customer group policies to reflect the changing security climate.
